Kent Menedez Wins Silver at Special Olympics.

I remember Kent when he was 6-years old and in Mrs. Lawyer’s 1st-grade class with my daughter at Cardiff Elementary.  He was a big-hearted and good-natured kid. Kent credits his older sister, Kiffen, for encouraging him to compete in the Special Olympics.

Artists Live Here – Doug Crozier

Cardiffian Doug Crozier paints using his original photographs as inspiration. His style is called “photorealism” and some of his paintings look so real it’s hard to tell they aren’t the actual photo. His work is currently on display at the Cardiff Library until September 29th. Doug clearly appreciates the beauty and funkiness of Cardiff. Learn more or contact him through his website.
